If you have been supplied a digital product (such as a ringtone) by a phone-paid service, you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This means you have 14 days in which to change your mind and get your money back – and you don’t have to give a reason.
In some cases, however, this doesn’t apply to digital content that you’ve already streamed or downloaded – the service provider should notify you that by starting the stream or download, you waive your right to cancel.
Any text message sent by a phone-paid service should include a shortcode number. Texting STOP ALL to this number should stop all the charges. If this doesn't work, you should use Resolver to contact the company and ask them to stop charging you.
