If, when you receive your quotation, this is not the case (and you were led to believe it would be), contact your insurer who should be able to explain the reason. You should read the ‘small print’ on your quotation, as there may be certain restrictions as to the eligibility of the free contents incentive.

If you are unsatisfied as to the reason for the denial of your contents insurance resolver recommends that you submit your concern to your insurer in writing, and resolver can assist you in submitting, recording and reminding you when and who to escalate to. If you are not completely happy with the cover that is set out in your quote then consider seeking quotes from different suppliers - remember that a quotation is not a commitment!
